Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is simple. We are disciplined when it comes to PR. We believe good PR should be proactive, not reactive, whenever possible. We are a small, independent firm dedicated to delivering the kind of experienced and skilled strategic communications counsel and media relations services and advice that the most discriminating and demanding clients in the entertainment industry expect.

For the past 20 years, Steve Elzer served as the motion picture group spokesman and chief media liaison between senior studio management and journalists representing the national consumer media, online, and entertainment trade press.  While working for Sony Pictures and New Line Cinema, Elzer managed PR for such high profile executives including Sony's Amy Pascal and New Line's Michael DeLuca and Mark Ordesky, among countless others while also working on such hit films as all four Spider-Man(tm) movies, the James Bond adventures SkyfallCasino Royale, and Quantum of Solace, as well as blockbusters including The Lord of the Rings, Austin Powers International Man of Mystery, The DaVinci Code, Angels & Demons, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Hitch, Boogie Nights, District 9, Pineapple Express, Superbad, Step Brothers, Se7en, The Mask, Dumb & Dumber,  Grown Ups, 50 First Dates, Men in Black(tm)2 and 3, Bad Boys II, Anger Management, Panic Room, Something's Gotta Give, The Smurfs, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Moneyball,  21 Jumpstreet, and Michael Jackson's This Is It,  among hundreds of others. 

Elzer is a voting member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and he teaches entertainment public relations as an adjunct instructor at the University of Southern California (USC).

Rachel Falikoff

Senior Vice President, Elzer & Associates

Rachel Falikoff is a Los Angeles-based public relations professional specializing in media relations, corporate communications, media training and event planning. With more than 14 years of experience in film and entertainment, she has worked on campaigns for blockbusters such as Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, Tangled, Alice in Wonderland, TED, the Spider-Man trilogy, Monster House, and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, ​among many others. 

As a consultant, Falikoff has worked for companies such as Sony Pictures Imageworks; Disney Animation Studios; ToyTalk, the first of its kind, two way interactive app created by former Pixar leads. She also has worked on campaigns for clients outside of the entertainment industry, such as Mommy Brings Home The Bacon, a self published children's book; Cool-Cups, an all natural gelatin free jello; Sock Panda, an online sock subscription company; and Animation Mentors, an online school for artists. 

Prior to consulting, she served as Manager of Publicity for Sony Pictures Imageworks, interfacing with journalists covering technology, visual effects and animation. She has previously worked at Columbia Pictures, New Line Cinema and Paramount Classics. Falikoff began her career working for SRO Communications in Phoenix, Arizona where she worked on campaigns for the Phoenix Suns and the Arizona Diamondbacks. She graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in Communications and minor in Business.
